How to preserve my apples?

Apples keep better when handled properly. Store them in perforated plastic bags inside a refrigerator drawer. If you buy large quantities, put them in a cold room at 0 to 4°C and cover them with sheets of perforated plastic, which helps them to retain their humidity. Apples may be frozen in quarters or slices, but never whole.
